About the Company

mCommerce Online Limited (mCoMo) is a system integrator and engineering company which specializes in telemetric and fleet management solutions. Established in 2002, mCoMo is a successful spin-off company under the Technology Innovation program of the University of Hong Kong. Since its inception, mCoMo have developed a wide range of propriety products together with system integration and turnkey solutions that enable corporate and government customers to better manage their fleet of vessels, vehicles, assets and deliveries. Typical mCoMo services included; feasibility study, product prototyping and development, system integration and project management.

mCoMo utilizes industrial microcomputers to make propriety industrial mobile data communication systems for various real-time remote data acquisition and M2M applications. All mCoMo core products are embedded with a GSM/GPRS modem and a data logger to collect, store, analyze and transport data via a local mobile network and Internet. It can be integrated with a GPS receiver and built-in RS-232 serial ports, digital Inputs and relay outputs for different data sensor or external peripheral connections. Key benefit is to provide valuable and accurate management information needed to improve productivity, reduce excessive operating cost and enhance customer services.

For end-users, mCoMo offers proprietary software, operating under an MS Windows OS, which can be customized to customer individual needs. It is designed for web based access that can be used easily by customers of all sizes; from small owner/operator to large fleet operation. Moreover, mCoMo provides customers with easy-to-use API, and GPRS Gateway Software and GUI-based Console Utility and web based digital mapping software so that they don’t have to deal with complex GPRS and TCP/IP communications.
